I went back a little and the acsm plugin worked perfectly. I too use a Linux latop but now I know that it can work properly.

I also installed the obok plugin and that too works well so I now have two avenues to backup any of my bought Kobo books that I need.

So thanks again for all your help in solving my problem and educating me at the same time.
