Use Count all, not replace all to see the individual counts.

And that should make the button visible when doing Replace all as well

Looks like this is implemented via <count all> (Tout computer) in <saved searches> (Recherches sauvegardées).
Kovid, maybe it is possible to add this view also as selectable option for <replace all> too (somehow like in pic 4). Edit: @Kovid, I didn't saw that there was a second page with your answer ![]() Last edited by Divingduck; 07-10-2017 at 05:35 AM. |

Hi
The new feature (Show details) works beautifully, now both for "Count all" and "Replace all". Thanks again, it's a real pleasure to use. I still have a small question. If I understand, everybody will understand. Say, I have a group of some saved searches I wish to use. Their common given name includes the word "insé". So, on the search line of the saved searches window, I type this filter name "insé" to call them and, bam!, I instantly see all of them displayed. If I do a right click on the filter line, I see a menu entry named "select all". However, if I try to use it, it does not select the displayed saved searches (which I expected it to do) but only select the search word "insé". Question: could we have the possibility to select all the called for saved searches? |

If I try to click on the list of saved searches, I can only select one line at a time. If then I type Ctrl+A, it executes the selected search (only one).
Did I missed something? |

Works for me. But if it does not for you. Click on the first search, then hold Shift and click on the last search

Yes with Shift, it works for me and it's quite convenient. Thanks.

Hi
I remarked a curious thing. I have a group of ten saved searches, numbered from one to ten that I use quite frequently. I call this group with the filter "insé". It allows me to insert narrow no-break spaces in any French language EPUB. I can export this group as a .json file using the "export" button of the Calibre editor. If I import it back, it will be displayed in reverse order (from ten to one). Only after restarting Calibre will it appear in the right order (from one to ten). This quirk may confuse some users. I do not know if I made a mistake somewhere. Experience tells me that this is surely what happens, but I fail to spot it. ![]() Last edited by roger64; 07-19-2017 at 03:30 AM. |
