Search results
Hi,
frequently when doing a search, for author or Series for example, I put in the full name in the search field but get other authors/series listed as well. Example below............. Search Field entry was Jack Ryan. |

Maybe in the other books there is a mention of "Jack Ryan" in the comments or other metadata field.
Try doing a search for; series:"=Jack Ryan" |

Exactly how are you entering the search term (giving an example would be useful here)?
For instance: - Are you restricting the fields to be searched? - Are you using the "includes" type matching rather than exact matching? |

Great response !!
When I searched originally, I would just put the term in, no field specified, no restrictions etc. just Jack Ryan , no quotes around. Just tried the search:"=Jack Ryan" .......... worked atreat, other searches similar. Thanks for the answer , problem solved
