Sorry, I opened every thread in the first page that has a tittle associated with JB on 5.6.1, but didn't find what I want.

If you have 5.6.1 and you are not going to open up your Kindle and attach stuff to the serial port, then you are screwed. You are stuck using it as it is. There is nothing you can do at present and there's a chance there may never be anything you can do. So never buy a Kindle if you are not prepared to use it as is with no jailbreak ever. If a jailbreak is found for 5.6.1, then install KOreader and NOT duaokan. |

I don't want to continue extending this thread too much, as it's clear it's reached an end.
I do however want to thank everyone! Hopefully, when the warranty period is over (6 months from now) I'll bring myself to open it up and take pictures and notes to share here. Thanks again! NaOH.- |

Uninstalling it is simple. Do it from the settings menu within duokan.
