Hey, that's great. I actually wrote an email to the German customer service about two weeks ago. No reply yet. If it weren't for their discounts I wouldn't buy a single book from them I think.

Paypal is once again available from Kobo in Ireland. I have had less issues with just paying directly with my card rather than paying with that card through Paypal. A few times I've had Kobo take my payment from Paypal but not deliver the books.
