Timed Checkout

Anyone know if there is a way to do a timed checkout in Calibre? I would love to be able to check out a book and have it automatically expire by a certain time frame. If not, anyone know an alternative software?

No - that is not a facility offered by Calibre. That would involve Calibre knowing about DRM, and also the different types of DRM used by different reading devices. Calibre does not support any type of DRM at the moment, and I cannot see such an enhancement as being likely to happen.
