can be only compared with dual screen devices as first gen nook and alex reader.
will not be a second gen, i bet due to patents in spring design pocket |

entourage has no patents. typically cowboy approach.
spring design is not developing anything. they will live on licence fees if anybody will licence the tech, which I doubt. it may be the end of dual screen devices here. this is why B and N moved away from dual screens. |

This seems to be a pretty common startup model. Patent some design ideas, get a boatload of venture capital, hire some guys who actually make your idea work but as a work-for-hire so you still own the rights to the IP, make a working model so you can protect the patent but don't sell many so the business tanks and shuts down, walk away with bonuses and the patent, hanging your investors and customers out to dry. Kinda brilliant if you don't mind being a horrible human being.
