Follow the directions in the first post. You need to unzip the file "kindle-5.4-jailbreak.zip" into the Kindle. This file will be inside the zip download from the first post (which contains READMEs and version info and changelogs in addition to bridge updates, as well as the actual jailbreak zip).

Yep...and yet there are many other ways in which the screensavers may not be working after reinstalling the hack. Hence my request for more (any) information about the problem beyond it 'doesn't work'.

At present, only by physically opening the device and doing that through the serial port.

I have a PW2 and i use it from the FW 5.4.x. and Jailbreaked. I unfortunately updated my PW2 to 5.6.x. with manually...

Can I JB my PW with this hotfix??
What need to JB??
As a previous process JB methods with Hotfix??

I read the JB thread and i found the hotfix jailbreak. I wanna JB my PW2. I like the Jailbreaked applications and Games..

I hardly want to Jailbreak My PW2.

I have a PW2 5.4.3.2 and Jailbreak v.1.8. I want to update the JB and then update FW. Do I need to uninstall current JB or just simply reinstall with the latest version?

I reinstalled JB v1.14 successfully. Do I lose margin hack by updating to 5.6.1.0.2 from 5.4.3.2 ? Is there anything especial about this new FW?

The new firmware should work fine, so long as kaznelson posted an updated margin hack in the same place as the original.
