Ringo was my Dad's age. Dad died 7 years ago from prostate cancer. It had...is having profound affects on my family...on me, to lose my father when I was but a child of...32? And Cinderella died yesterday. The woman who was the voice of the Disney Classic....

She said some like...she was thrilled to know that here voice would endure and inspire others long after she was gone.

This is why I always say "We are what we leave behind."

I've been watching the news on different stations this morning and all those who touched the subject of Ringo's birthday seemed surprised.

Maybe I'm not surprised because I have not turned my clock off for my dad since he's still alive.(thank god) Ringo is 5years younger than my dad is so my clock for him is still running. It's just a different angle in perception I guess...

But there are people larger than life who are not touched by time. Adrian?...

It would be nice if Adrian lives on. It's sort of why I keep trying to Creative Commons/public domain him...to lose hold of his leash, to encourage others to perceive that his autonomy is not mine to approve. Then he can be whatever he/they want him to be, without this particular monkey on his back. :wrysmile:
