Woo Hoo - tonight - a new Miss Marple on PBS! Julia McKenzie is filling the tweeds & brogues admirably! Some criticism for filming "non-Marple" stories.

I never did like Geraldine McEwan's Miss Marple - too sly & cunning!

I liked Geraldine McEwan's Miss Marple.

Even better we had James Nesbitt's Midnight Man on TV the other night. I have recorded it..... hope it is as good as I think.

I prefered Geraldine McEwan too. She had that bright little twinkle in the corner of her eye that showed how clever Miss Marple should have been.

The pool hit the magic number today: 84⁰ F! Norton acted as if it were still a bit chilly, though. He kept running up to the top of the slide. Then the weather changed, the storm clouds rolled in, and thunder ended the festivities. It's raining now, but it was nice to be able to jump in the pool the day before Memorial Day.

Of course, charging batteries is nice, too.
