Hope Nomesque and Geoff's lady both feel better soon!

I ran into my neighbor as he was piling mattresses into his car. As I was beginning to suspect, they are moving out, and he assured me that they should be finished today. So it looks like I'll have some blessed quiet at least for a few days. Then, of course, the suspense... how noisy will the next tenants be?

Barefoot as in no shoes. I wear shoes only rarely anyway (I'm normally just wearing-out pairs of Havaianas, and have the requisite foot-tan ), so I never find them comfortable. I'd prefer barefoot, as thongs/flip-flops aren't always stable on uneven ground and rock-hopping.

It's nice, after 20 years of office work, to have hard soles on my feet again.

Ah Ha! Hope the best for nice quiet neighbors for you!

I was never so glad to see my previous next-door neighbors move out (with their damn barking dogs) and then a young couple moved in......I was expecting loud music, drunken parties, etc. but they have been perfect neighbors for almost a year now.

Thanks! They are still moving things around upstairs, I do hope they will be gone tomorrow.

I bought a planter and loam (says Google translate - I hope that's the right word) and support sticks for my tomatoes. Now all I need to do is to put all this together and put them on the balcony
