Pshrynk, now that it's over, how about clearing up a few loose threads?

* Pilotbob said that MTravellerH was polishing the prize cases, but MTH said he was “busy with the new reader at the time.” Was BOb lying or just distracted? And earlier, Zelda was seen by Rock to be absent-mindedly dusting the cases. Why bother to dust recently polished cases?

* Pilotbob said that Ravenne was spray-painting a dog at the time, but she said she was trying to get the next contest ready for the members. Was he lying about what she was doing, or does the next contest involve a spray-painted dog? Since the next contest is now out (a drawing for an iPad), it seems as if Ravenne was lying. Why?

* What were the significance of the printed words “Moby Dick” on the Nook?

* Why did Patricia say that “Zelda never touches the Red Button,” when during the course of the story, Zelda pressed the Red Button twice, and was obviously quite familiar with its operation?

* Why did Nate the Great say, “I understand that pshrynk took one on the head. Nasty business. But then, he didn't know that much about electronics.” What's that got to do with the price of tea in China?

Just curious...

Was it a curious thing that a certain German moderator knew about the Nook? I thought about that, but decided that the moderators all had the chance to see it when Rock took the picture. Remember; the picture was taken before the mods were put into separate rooms!

Yeah! I got you! My way of thinking was similar to Davimee's but as I go through your theories guys I see you might have been right as well. I also was vacillating between MTH and Ravenne (and sometimes pilotbob) but well... the actual sentence quoted by Lobster convinced me. Besides MTH was like dr NO and other typical villains, pilotbob kind of provided additional info so was in the clear as Santa's little helper and girls always have it easier, don't they?

Great fun, I could feel like a real PI with my notes and everything

I was asleep!

But I chose verencat... But it was an accident. After Nate put all those strings there, she went after those strings. And interrupted Phsrynk, who was trying to open that case with his crowbar. He tripped over her, throws the crowbar into the air and it drops on his head. Dead. Naturally, nobody saw it, as it was an accident and Verencat was too busy with those strings....
