Thanks for the kind and supportive words, Dennis. I tried to give you Karma but the darn Karma police wouldn't let me!

I know he's been doing a little better and is considering making some changes that I think will help with the grief. I think the next few months are going to be pretty hard on him but at least he doesn't have to worry about starting over with a new team.

I don't know anymore than what directly involves my brother, but, off the record, I tend to agree with your assessment.

To be fair, they lost Chris Henry, God bless him, and were dealing with injures to other receivers but sometimes I wanted to pull my hair out when they called for a run play when it should have been a pass. During the last game (we were still in Vegas for the CES) I had to actually leave the sports bar where we were watching the game because I kept wanting to throw my margarita glass at the big screen TV. I don't think they would have appreciated it.

The intricacies of negotiations within American football is a nightmare! Free agents, drafts, franchise players, etc.,?!?! Whatever happened to just playing the darn game?

Of course, you know, they are talking about a strike sometime in the next season or two. The players want a cut of the owners' take on things like tickets and concessions. As if they don't make an unGodly amount of money already!!

Because it's not about the "game". It never has been... it's about money. Football is a business and players are there for the money... yea... they all say "they love playing football"... but heck, if I make 12million in 3 years I would love what I do too.
