The trick is to get two kittens at the same time - the seem to carry on acting kittenish a lot longer...

He did my aunt's wedding cake (she lives in Baltimore and I guess she knew him before the show). It was beautiful, but of course, didn't taste good because fondant tastes like playdough.

There's a B. Kliban cartoon of a guy sitting in a chair, festooned in cats. He's telling his friend "I got a cat. It was okay. I liked it. So I got another, and another, and another..."

My maximum has been three, with none at the moment. I once shared a house where there were eight cats and a dog (because one of my housemates rescued feral cats). her husband commented "At any time, I can clap my hands and yell, and at least four cats will suddenly stop doing something they knew they shouldn't be doing..."

Getting a kitten also revives the older cat's energy and playfulness. Before I got Puce, I used to call Bob "la grosse pantoufle" (the big slipper (?)), but when the kitten started to attack and jump aroud, he got his youth back. Now it's been three years since I got Puce, I'm thinking a new kitten could be fun. Bf is completely opposed though

Moaning in the V and R thread about catching a cold and at the same time celebrating my brother's new contract with the Bengals. 3 more years and a pretty hefty pay increase. It was a tough year for him so I'm glad something has worked out for him.
