If you really have to (or want to) go, maybe you can pick up a few of those paper masks they were handing out at Ryleigh's pediatrician yesterday. I know I've seen them at our local pharmacy. If nothing else, it might make others feel sorry for you and give you the star sick person treatment.

Some of the members of a steampunk(*) forum I'm on have been known to try and work out how best to get coal as it is quite useful for powering steam devices

Right now trying to work out what's the best festive dinner for two people with norovirus (probably). All plans for Christmas and Boxing days are now off - my parents both have chest infections, and the in-laws don't want our virus (very uncharitable of them, imo, it would have been an extra pressie...

)

Also feeling just a tad guilty for feeling a little pleased that we've got out of it this year, even if it is for unpleasant reasons.

What I am doing right now is looking at a stack of papers I need (want) to scan in and put into Evernote and shred them. But, it takes ever so long on my HP flatbed scanner. I am so wishing it had a Fijitsu Scansnap... but they are a bit pricey.

After that there are Christmas presents to wrap. Just a few... we didn't go to crazy this year... sending two kids to college at the same time isn't cheap.

Tell me about it, BOb! Maybe you and I should take up a collection for the Impoverished-By-Charitable-Giving-To-Progeny amongst us. I elected to send my two to private colleges, so I think I should get to move to the head of that soup line.

Um yea... sadly we had to make the decision for one to not go to a private school and go to a state school cause we just couldn't muster $47k a year and coming out of school with over $100k in debt is something he should be saddled with.

We do have an advantage of being in Florida and UF where son #1 goes is a Top 50 school and UCF where son #2 goes is also a great school.

I have been thinking of declaring myself a non-profit so that people could deduct donations they make to me.
