i would love to see those videos, if you can find them again ! i saw a video of planning a trip with friends which was very impressive and made me wish i had some sort of group holiday coming up.

i think wave can be useful for planning events and also for collaborating on projects. on the other hand, if you have nothing to plan and no projects to work on, probably email and / or chat can be just as useful.

Some parts of Wave look really good - but overall it scares me.

I think it could suck you in like a technological whirlpool. I'll choose not to use it recreationally - and pray my company doesn't adopt it for work.

I'm also on Google Wave. Pretty interesting technology for real-time collaboration.

The spell-checking is hit or miss, but I've seen the translation in action, and it's great.

I have another thread where I talk about a list I'm creating on there of all the publishers that don't allow text-to-speech on the Kindle (hopefully, along with their contact information).
