i suppose i do have a preference for legibility, as it happens. although wouldn't that be rather easily resolved by *typing* the story rather than writing it longhand ?

Typing! I hadn't thought of that

(Unlike the last one, I am actually typing this one - as in even the draft before I post)

However, if I type too quickly I start typing backwards or, even odder, backwards with one hand and forwards with the other.
