I used to have a terrible time falling asleep. I would think about all the things I needed to do the next day or rehashed a problem from the day before. Then I got the idea to start writing a story in my head. I would imagine the settings and characters, figuring out a general plot and just let my imagine take over. Now I fall asleep fairly quickly with a smile on my face (I do love a good story ). Not that I think my stories are all that good and I don't think I've ever actually made it to the conclusion, but I do fall asleep happy!! It's a silly thing, I know, but it works for me.

I am DONE with school for the year! Yes, I will be working this summer there anyway, but I'm DONE with the school year! I have no job! That and I send the kids off to school everyday. When summer vacation begins for us next week, I'll be a slave to the family again.

In a weakened moment, I turned my resume in to a couple of schools. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't call. How sad is that?!?! I adore teaching, but hate working. If I could just spend my time working with the kids in the classroom and not have to deal with all the extraneous garbage, I would be happy to work. Unfortunately, there is no way to get away from it and that tarnishes my time with the kids.

start working freelance from home, with no company but a couple of relatively taciturn felines. you'll see that it's nice to have a bit of "conversation" during breaks, and that the forum makes the tedious bits pass faster.

Man, for some reason I could really go for some sushi today. Sashimi style tuna with just a drizzle of roasted red pepper sauce and some shoots for garnish - heaven! Heck, I could just eat it right out of the water, right now!

The name of the play is "The Bald Soprano". That's all I know about it, though. I'm not sure if it's something the students are writing. If it is, it could be about anything based on the one act plays he and his fellow students wrote and performed this past fall. The more off-the-wall the better they like it!

I just got off the phone with a representative of Sprint. I want to upgrade to a PDA phone. The woman was very nice and exceedingly helpful. When I asked her what kind of phone she used, she said, "Oh, I don't have one." I laughed and said I was surprised that, working for Sprint, she didn't have a phone. She said she was in CANADA and Spint wasn't in Canada. You never know where you're calling anymore when you hit 1-800!!
