XTC?
I realize it's pretty esoteric but what are the odds are of getting a native XTC conversion option in Calibre? I've been using one of the web based converters, which works fine, but it would be really nice to keep it within Calibre since that's where all my books are.
A reliable plugin would also be nice, that topic already has a deserted thread. |

Were you looking at the is there a working XTC output plugin? thread? If so, did you try the plugin in the message #5 in that thread?

Sadly, after I replied, I actually downloaded and tested your plugin. It appeared to spit out a file with an .xtc extension but instead of images, the file seems to contain markdown text.

There’s also a new built-in preview: select a book and choose “Preview XTC” from the plugin’s menu (the small arrow next to the button) to see the pages exactly as the reader will show them, with page navigation and a chapter list. This way you can check the result before copying the file to your device. By default it creates 4-shade grayscale files with the .xtch extension. Could you tell me: Which firmware does your reader use: the original Xteink one or CrossPoint? Does the .xtch file open correctly? If your reader only shows .xtc files, enable “Save 4-shade files with the .xtc extension” in the plugin settings, or switch the mode to black and white. |
