Black Friday 2026

Black Friday isn't really Black Friday anymore. Retailers have been expanding the sales and pushing the dates back. At this point, does the actual date for Black Friday even matter? Many, if not most of the stores will give refunds of the price differences if you buy early and the prices drop later on.

This year, the holiday shopping season starts 05 Oct. Walmart (05 Oct), Amazon (06 Oct), Target (06 Oct) ... Best Buy (TBA)

Target Is Kicking Off Black Friday Early This Year

Updated Oct. 26, 2026 -- Black Friday is still over a month away, but if past years are any indication, we won’t have to wait until Nov. 27 to score some of the best deals of the season. And Target just confirmed it will be kicking things off with a three-day Early Black Friday Sale, running Nov. 5 through 7, followed by new limited-time offers dropping every weekend throughout the holidays.
