Any idea what changed? The notes are the same as the last one, mentioning the credit card payment fix and Storytime integration.

All The Storygraph's AI features are opt-in. If you don't want to use their AI, you don't have to. As someone who has been a paying user since they went live 6 years ago, I have appreciated this.

What I was told is there are some expanded workflows related to updating to v5+ though those are dormant at this time and changes related to the retail demo mode.

So nothing all that exciting for current users.

Those notes are the same as the previous version, 4.38.23684. The StoryGraph integration came online at the end of May, around 4.38.23697 or thereabouts if I remember it correctly.
