Calibre and the config folder are both in a folder on an external.

NOTE: If you used the Calibre EXPORT tool. Launch that on the new PC and select Import.

Simply copy them (the contents) OVER the default locations
(the contents of the config folder into the new PC config folder)
(The Calibre Library -> new PC Calibre Library)

Question

Sorry I may seem stupid but can't remember where is the best place to put calibre library and config folder off the external onto my new pc. Ready to import into calibre?
Which is best, Documents, C Drive or Data?
I have reset the old PC.
So got a folder on the external with 2 calibre folders. 1 the library full of books and 1 with the config folder in it.
Have I messed up?

Create a directory called "c:\Calibre Library". Then under that directory, create all the directories for your libraries. Put your libraries in the appropriate directories and there you go.

Once you install calibre, run it once and then close it. Then go to %appdata%\Calibre and copy your confing into there.

That's it, done.
