The reason I want Remove unused CSS rules back the way it was is because it has no keyboard shortcut. I can't add one. If I could add one, I'd not mine it being two layers deep.

Would you please allow a keyboard shortcut for Remove unused CSS rules?

I do use this at least twice for every eBook I edit.

What is preventing you from adding shortcuts via the editor preferences under Keyboard shortcuts->tools?

You can't hotkey parts of Polish.
That leaves the Editor, except that needs the book being 'edited'

I think you might be able to SET the Polish:remove unused... hotkey in the Editor

I suspect Jon expects Remove unused CSS to be in the Shortcuts->Tools group because Remove unused CSS is in the Toolbars->Tools group

There is no Toolbars->Polish group.

I did expect Remove unused CSS rules to be in Shorctut > Tools. And in post #9, Kovid said to look in Shortcuts > Tools.
