Upgrade from Aura H2O to Aura One? - Page 2

I have always loved my Aura One; however, I am now using my Forma happily.

I picked up a Paperwhite 12th gen locally to jailbreak. Hopefully it doesn't have the yellow bar issue when I fire it up. Thanks to all who took the time to post their opinions and answer my questions.

I did a repair of the Aura H2O gen 1 recently. Here are my observations.

Its not particularly difficult to remove the glue from the front panel for separation. It is a PITA to remove the glue residue when you wish to reapply some soft of adhesive for sealing it back up. The battery is the same deal but you can be rougher with the glue residue since it is gonna be stuck to the metal frame. Be careful with the power button as I screwed mine up which I believe happened when removing and replacing the motherboard back onto the back cover caused some damage. If you somehow break the screen which should be difficult to achieve, make sure you source a replacement screen with a very similar vcom value.
