In my last reply post under number 15 on the last page, I took what I had started to write here and included it in my post, though I would have deleted this mistaken reply if the delete feature were available. I had responded about the Android app Colibrio and the multi-speaker voice, which I think sounds more realistic. That was basically the gist of my last post. To summarize, I was wondering if, besides Colibrio Reader, there are other Android apps that support audio playback of piperTTS voices or m4a files in EPUB. Colibrio works but doesn’t highlight the text as it reads; it simply plays the audio with the pages and then turns them. I also mentioned Thorium Reader on Windows, which can play EPUB files with this audiobook feature.

hover over edit it says, "Edit/Delete Message". but I never found the delete message button?

Multi-speaker voices aren’t supported, but they’re still included. I know single-speaker voices work well, but some multi-speaker voices sound more real to me, with clearer speech. For example, the LibriTTS voice sounds more authentic, even if it’s stuck on one voice—maybe it’s the static-like sound I hear through my earbuds. It’s listed as a high-quality voice, not medium. There are also more high-quality US voices than UK ones. I think a UK voice works best for reading something like *The Lost World* or *Sherlock Holmes*, while I’d stick with US voices for most other content. Public domain titles like *Winnie the Pooh* might sound better with a UK voice, while books by Mark Twain seem to call for a US voice. I prefer the high-quality voices, though the medium ones are fine too.
