This post contains the OLD previous version of the plugin. I'm only doing it because there's no public repo that I'm aware of.

Thanks. Does this update/version work also with older versions of Calibre (I am still using 7.18 - never touch a running system ... ;-) ... ?

It should work with 7.18. But really, there is NO REASON not to update to the current calibre. I've run most versions of calibre and there is no reason not to run the current version 8 if you are able to.

Except, you know, for that issue we just had with RECOVER_PARSER.

As a general rule, plugins maintain backward compatibility. When they don't, the minimum supported Calibre version in the plugin should prevent installing it on an incompatible older version.
