OLD Version Saved
This post contains the OLD previous version of the plugin. I'm only doing it because there's no public repo that I'm aware of.

It should work with 7.18. But really, there is NO REASON not to update to the current calibre. I've run most versions of calibre and there is no reason not to run the current version 8 if you are able to.

Except, you know, for that issue we just had with RECOVER_PARSER.
![]() As a general rule, plugins maintain backward compatibility. When they don't, the minimum supported Calibre version in the plugin should prevent installing it on an incompatible older version. |

one suggestion
hi,
the plugin is great, but I have one suggestion for improvement and one question: - would it be possible to add a white list, i.e. a list of CSS classes for which and only for which word hyphenation will be performed? - and a question: can this plugin also load an exception file .exc? thanks |

Has anyone been able to get this to work for Russian? I've tried it using the .dic file from here https://extensions.libreoffice.org/e...ictionary-pack but no change to the epub after running Hyphenate. I'm using the latest version of Calibre (8.16.2) and the latest version of the plugin, though I've also tried this previously with earlier versions of Calibre and the plugin (also without success). Reinstalling the plugin doesn't help. I've tried including all the tags under "parse," not including tags, setting the right/left min to an override of 2, not setting a right/left min, running it on the file in epub2, running it on the file in epub3, with no effect.
I ran it with the debugging log and all it shows is Quote:
