Front lighting on the Verse Pro?
Is there someone here who can confirm (or debunk) that the Verse Pro uses the same screen as the Touch HD 3? I have the HD 3 and I count six amber LEDs and seven white LEDs. I assume the Verse Pro is the same, but I don't know for certain.

At least I know that the Verse Pro has only an eInk Carta display (not Carta 1200/1300).

I sold my Touch HD 3 long time ago; the THD 3 and the Verse Pro differ in the number of LEDs. On my Verse Pro (Azure) I counted 10 amber and 11 white LEDs. The LEDs on the Verse Pro are not evenly distributed. The white LED in the lower right corner illuminates a narrower area than the white LED in the lower left corner.

Thank you. Does the screen look evenly lit, or is that narrower area for the white LED (on the right side) noticeable when reading?

The narrower area of the white LED on the lower right side isn’t noticeable when reading.
The wider white area on the lower left side is minimally noticeable when reading.
At a height of approximately 2 cm from the bottom edge, the screen isn’t evenly lit in the middle.

I've had other Verse Pros and the one I have now has the best screen. On previous devices there was a noticeable color and brightness gradient from top to bottom.

The picture shows my Verse Pro which I have now.
