I would contend that being Science Fiction rules it out of being General Fiction, but it is definitely still Literary Fiction. In any case I thought it was a useful clarification given the thread we are in.

Good enough. It's certainly nice to have them all in one volume. I think I paid more for each US volume on sale than the list price of the Complete Edition in the UK, let alone the sale price.

...but seriously, I consider ANYTHING by Ishiguro to be Literary Fiction. I collect his work (First Editions, USA English Hardbacks). I understand Ishiguro writes in English.

I personally keep it out of Science Fiction.
