Calibre *very* slow to recognize plugged in Scribe
When I plug a Kindle into my MacBook (M2), it seems not to recognize it. I would say it's over a full minute or maybe even 2 or 3 before eventually the device registers and Calibre shows it to me.

Is there some setting that can make this quicker? I guess patience must be counseled?

The first (ever) connect can take some time while calibre scans the device storage to build its inventory list. (2 files with calibre in their names will be left in the root folder. If you remove those, it is a start over... so avoid that)

I have this problem with my new Paperwhite--but it takes more like 15-20 minutes to be recognized. . .every single time.
