Kobo Not Contacting Calibre-Web

Weird issue with the Kobo sync on Calibre-Web.

I was able to set up the Kobo sync fine, and successfully synced my Kobo once with Calibre-Web. After the first successful sync, I deleted the book that was synced onto my Kobo, both the download and removing it from 'my books' when prompted, and now Kobo does not seem to want to sync with Calibre-Web.

According to the Calibre-Web logs, the Kobo is not contacting my Calibre-Web server.

Any ideas?

First obvious question. What has changed in your environment since it worked?

Calibre-web running native or in a container?

If container are ports forwarded correctly

It's running in a seedbox (via ultra.cc), so I assume container. I haven't been able to identify anything in the environment that has changed.

The first sync that worked was on the standard port 8083, I've since tried again on 8083, the webUI port that ultra.cc gives me for calibre-web, 443, and 80 to no avail. Calibre-web is set to port 8083 in server configuration.

I think i've figured out the issue, I'm able to sync when I turn off "proxy unknown requests to Kobo store", but the cover for my book is not downloading from Calibre-web

I've had issues with covers downloading when they are >3mb, try compressing and reuploading the cover?
