Bought a book from Kobo but it will not download to my Sony T1 and attempts to reach Kobo are hopeless. Kobo doesn't provide a number to call and their email option warns it'll take a long time for them to respond so you should call their access number but they have no number for US customers.

Would appreciate any advice

Give Kobo your complaint by mail, email, telephone. US consumer protection gives them 30 days to return money or give you satisfactory product.

This is not completely clear to me: "it will not download to my Sony T1".
I do understand "download" offcourse but it does not describe exactly how you tried to install/tranfer the book to your ereader device.

1. Did you download the epub version of the book from your online Kobo account to your computer?
2. Add the book to Adobe Digital Editions (or Sonys own application) on your computer
3. Tranfer the book using ADE (or Sonys app) to your autorised ereader or do it manually. The book can be found in "\My Documents\Documents\My Digital Editions" (or similar location).

You probably did all this.

Thanks all. Turned out I forgot to double click on the book to download it from my Kobo library to my Sony Reader app on my laptop.
