Calibre versions > 3 don't start
I decided to finally update my calibre (ver 3.xx) to the latest (7.22) and found it does not start. I considered that it may be jumping to many versions so I tried 6xx, 5xx, 4xx without any improvement. Uninstalling and going back to 3.48 is the furthest I can go that opens.

Try rebooting in safe mode and see if it works.

You might want to install a few Windows updates. 19041 was the 20H1 release which is well out of date.

Try seeing if there are any Windows Updates available. You do have some sort of discrepancy.

I seem to have solved the issue. I had APU drivers and dedicated GPU drivers installed at same time. Uninstalled both, then installed just dedicated and now able to run 7.22. Thanks for everyone's help!
