Avoid Kobo switching to PowerSafe/Hibernate mode

Since a few days I'm using einkvnc for lengthy sessions, where my Kobo Elipsa2e serves as screen.
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=348481

Now I have to touch the screen every 10 minutes or so, to avoid the enabling of the power-safe mode on my Kobo. Which will shut down the W-LAN device and therefore break my running VNC session.

Is there a known procedure to keep the Kobo alive? E.g. by running a process over SSH in parallel?

Have you tried "ForceWifiOn in the config file"?

Yes, ForceWifiOn is set, and it also helps to remain at least the first 10-15 min connected.
However, once the device hibernates, also the W-LAN chip seems to be turned off.

Does it help if you try setting the sleep and power timeouts to never?

Yes indeed, there's a normal power management setting to either increase the timeout up to 60 minutes or disable it completely.
Totally forgot that the device could have a standard solution for this without having to hack-around

So I'm happy with this. If somebody knows a command to control this setting from a terminal, then I could automate the disabling and re-enabling before and after VNC sessions.
