Which is the "contents" pane, and what would you want to show in its place once it is off?

The Jobspy plugin has a utility function that lists keyboard shortcuts in a CSV file, see ==>> Index of plugins. BR |

By contents pane I mean the Table of Contents that is displayed in its own pane on the left of the text window, from an open ebook. The Table of Contents is displayed by mouse right-click and selecting "Table of Contents". I'm wondering if the mouse can be avoided and a keyboard command used instead, which would be a lot easier and quicker, allowing one to summon and dismiss the Table of Contents pane in a toggle-like manner.

Anyway if it is the File Browser you are referring to, then BetterRed has steered you to the solution. |

I haven't found a keyboard shortcut, but you could do View -> File Browser / Table of Contents. Those are toggle checkboxes:
By the way, just recently I found a way to have the TOC and the File Browser side-by side in the left pane: |

![]() It was the comment about the "left of the screen" that kept throwing me into thinking of the File Browser. Interesting that the OP would need to access it so often that it requires a shortcut. Isn't it something that is created once and then only when the ebook is complete, or close to, rather than progressively creating it? |
