I love baseball. But there are two things mentioned a lot in this day and age that I just don't give the slightest damn about: broken bats and exit velocity. Shut up about both, please.

I am overwhelmed and depressed. I was in a car accident and all I have is basic liability. I was at fault so car is not going to get fixed. At least it’s drivable. My building had no water. They were talking about putting us in a motel for the weekend but they got the water put on. I feel so stressed and sad.

If you fancy a little mood lifter, start a list of things you're thankful for and try to add to it daily. Then pop on some happy music and dance like no one is watching (whether they are or not).

If all else fails, pick up a funny book and distract yourself for a while.

Be nice to yourself fellow human being, tis all just a ride!

They turned on the water but our lobby is flooding . i guess they think water damage is cheaper than putting us all in motel rooms till its fixed

my door is smashed but at least i can still drive and the door still locks/unlocks but its an eye sore

I remember going to a wrecker's yard for a replacement door after a similar incident. Hard to say if the replacement door with a different paint job was less of an eyesore then the dented door but it was cheap and I was no longer driving in a Canadian winter with no glass in the driver's door!

Speaking of driver rants, drivers who do not use turn signals when turning. I do not like waiting for a car to go past so I can cross the road but the driver turns and I could have gone had the driver signaled.

I'm watching the local news, and the traffic report comes on. It shows the average speed for three commutes: 74mph, 64, and 49.

The maximum speed limit is 65.

This week was supposed to be a week off. After the last couple of crazy weeks hurrying to take the things we want to keep from the store.

On Monday the build team started emptying the basement. My father thought that would take at least a couple of weeks, I had my doubts, since they won't sort through the stuff; they throw out most things, only setting aside metal they can sell on.

I knew there were still a couple of things left, I was hoping my father would deal with those on his own. But it wasn't meant to be. Yesterday the new owner called that the team wanted to start in the store on Monday. So now I'm working, my father told me it's just today and tomorrow, but I'm fully expecting I won't have a free weekend, either.

All unnecessary if he had helped those first six and a half weeks, instead of just the last week and a half. Add to that that it's going to be around 30℃ until Tuesday, which means I'm not happy.

In a building full of elderly people where a lot don't have any internet, the landlord is forcing us all to provide proof of tenant insurance through QR code.

Last week my father got a few red bumps on his back, which were itchy. My parents thought it must be mosquito bites. But he got more and more. So over the weekend my mother thought he might have shingles again (like 18 months ago). My father had his yearly check up today and had the doctor check it out. She also thinks it shingles, though without testing she isn't sure. She told him to keep using ureum cream (reduces the itching) and if it hasn't cleared up in a couple of weeks to make a new appointment.

Meanwhile she's order the first round of vaccinations for both my parents (after I have regularly nagged them to get it for 18 months). They'll get it when they get their flu shots. Finally.

My father asked me if I wanted the vaccination,too. He offered to pay for it. Unfortunately you can't get one until you're 50, unless there's a medical reason. So I have to wait another seven years. I'm thinking it will make the perfect birthday present I'm going to give myself.

OH NO!!! OMG, after I nagged you to nag him and he STILL didn't? SIGH. When will he learn? I would jump off the damn roof if I got it again. It was...so so so bleeping horrible.

I am sorry for him though.
