Issues with jailbreak -- MR Installer
Kindle Touch Model D01200 running FW 5.0.4.
I installed jailbreak via https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=186645 Then KUAL with KUAL-KDK-1.0.azw2 Then KUAL Helper to extensions folder Then extracted MR Installer folders to Kindle root I'm unable to get past the message "Launching the MR Installer" at the bottom of the screen. My ultimate goal is Python development for the Kindle. I feel like maybe my firmware is older than what's in a lot of the documentation? Is there a way to update to a slightly newer firmware before trying this process over? |

SOLVED: factory reset, updated to 5.3.2.1 and no longer experiencing this issue.
