Yeah, we tried that last film, the "un-Milla" one, and OMG, it was dreadful. We quit about, IDK...5-7 minutes in? Typical, boring, trope-y zombie stuff. Too bad.

I did get my second shot on Friday. A sore arm and a bit of a headache, but otherwise OK. I have been taking it easy this weekend.

Soooo....for some time now, Mr. Occasionally-not-so-wonderful has been riding me about the state of my desk. Don't get me wrong, I'm the first to agree, it's been pretty awful--covered with everything under the sun and not helped by the fact that Mr. Zep, zee cat, lies there and likes to push anything he can on the floor, disrupt piles of mail and all that, right?

But as (most of) you all know, I've been a skoosh under the weather and the desk cleaning project has been in abeyance. Anyway, one of Mr. H's big complaints was that I was making it hard on the CAT, because he didn't have a place to lie, "comfortably," amirite?

So, today...yup, I finished cleaning up the desk. Totally immaculate, oak top sitting there all nekkid and stuff.

Now, ask me--is the g*dd*mned cat lying on it? HE IS NOT. He's avoiding it, like I've ruint it. Instead, he's lying 5 feet away, on a heavy-duty black yard trash bag, currently filled with the shreds of all the paper items that were shredded, in the great desk (and office, to some extent) clean up.

SO GLAD that I could make the CAT happy. I knew this would be the outcome--both of them, and now he alone--only liked lying on it when it was covered in nice, soft, squishy paper.(sigh).

(the attached, by the way, was taken years ago, when Zep was not quite full-grown. As you see, he will find the nice soft paper, no matter what. IMHO, I've now totally ruined the desk for him....)

Don't worry Hitch, I'm sure it'll be back to cat-approved state in no time....
Around here, at least, no horizontal surface stays empty for as much time as it would have taken to type your post.
