@jasius: USBMS gremlins? So, yeah, best start again (i.e., make sure the exclude took by watching Nickel destroy the files during its next exit from USBMS, then reinstall all the things).

The powershell script worked wonders!!!

Note to self: If powershell says "... running scripts is disabled on this system", open powershell with admin privilege and then run

After a FW update, do the KOReader settings get reset? Or are they still there once you extract the KFMon package and let it update?

@305869: A FW update has no bearing on KOReader whatsoever; it just kills the KFMon startup code.

How do you do this? I installed via the one click packages on the first post of this thread.

If you have NickelMenu installed, the install will add items in the .adds/nm directory to launch Plato and KOReader. You will have to remove the # from the front of the launch line to uncomment them in the koreader and plato files. I removed the kfmon, plato and koreader items from the nm directory and added the following two lines to my nm_config.txt.

menu_item : main : Plato : cmd_spawn : quiet : exec /mnt/onboard/.adds/plato/plato.sh
