Amazon's redesign of the author's pages

Ugh, I know I don't handle change well but this redesign is like nails on the chalkboard for me.

I should add that my preferred web pages for browsing what an author has available are https://www.bookseriesinorder.com/ and https://www.fantasticfiction.com/ which are both much better than Amazon's previous design.

It's not as if it was so great before.

Among other things, it needs a format filter (I think there was one before).

I have been hoping for Author grouping of Kindle library - it's not clear if this is part of preparing for that, but one can always hope.

Yes! I want to scroll down the list of authors and see only the authors' names on my kindle's library.

Ugh, I don't like it. Huge pictures, tiny text. Totally opposite of what works for me. I much prefer words to pictures.

As I side note, I wish Amazon utilized the authors followed more.

I think everyone who owns a dot or Echo show seems to gripe on notifications of an author we follow releasing a book...but most of the time releases from authors I follow is missing if I browse on my Oasis or Kindle app on the Fire. Would be nice if there was an easy drop down to select authors I follow on the amazon website as well. I can find it but it's annoying.

Looking at the new re-design, pretty simplified and unimaginative. Another mobile design type I'm thinking

Edit: I assume that the steps would be for Amazon.

My 2nd posting up there lists the two sites I use for tracking authors. FantasticFiction sends out notifications for new books from authors I follow on their site while BookSeriesInOrder doesn't appear have a way to follow authors. But I've found some authors on the latter that aren't on the former.

Fantastic Fiction does have the ability to follow authors. There is a nice blue button right under the author's photo that says Follow author. You do have to register to have any account to follow authors.
