If I remember correctly you should be able to slip a thin card (like a credit card or a bus pass) around the borders then the cover snaps off. Then you should be able to change the battery. Unlike my Aura H2O2, which has screws... frustrating

![]() I don't have an Aura One, but I would check for the screws before trying to rip off the cover. As such, no one laid out the instructions. |

No screws holding the back on Aura One, its just glued. Just be careful on the bottom, there are two flex cables close to the edge that you could damage in the process(see attach). And when lifting the cover dont do it too fast, first peek at the touch controller(the chip with the flex cable on the bottom right), and see that its not glued to the cover(it can happen) and you dont rip it when pulling on the cover.

Library card. Bus pass. Credit card. Anything thin enough should work fine

Most importantly dont use anything sharp, but you probably can at the sides just to get you started easier if you dont have a plectrum. And again be especially carefull at the bottom where those 2 flex cables are, and at the top where the battery is(similar clearance as the bottom). On the sides theres plenty of clearance(10-15mm) as you can see on the pic, and very low chance on damaging anything. So id start with the sides and go towards top, and leave bottom last so you check for that touch controller isnt glued to the cover before lifting it. Edit: Oh and arm yourself with plenty of credit cards ![]() Last edited by ReaLx3m; 02-08-2021 at 01:51 PM. |

Hey, how was your battery replacement? Did you resolder the battery to the older PCB? Any pictures? Thanks.

So while you can use it without, ideally you should solder the protection pcb to the new battery, if the new battery you got doesnt have one of its own. |
