Well, i do have version 1.24 in my saved files. Will that version of kindle for pc work with DeDRM 10.0.3 ?

I like FileHippo for old versions of software. You can download 1.17 there.

I use that site with Firefox running uBlock Origin and have never had any issues with downloads there. Many sites hosting old versions of software feel skeevy.

Thank You so very much ZodWallop. You helped me once before quite a while ago when I was first looking for this version of 1.17. It worked for me until recently when my hard drive crashed and burned. This time I will save it on a flash drive for future disasters. Much appreciated.

No problem.

From experience, when you first install 1.17 and sign in, the stupid thing will auto update in the background. So once you are signed in, make sure to uncheck 'auto-update'.

When you restart if it has auto-updated, don't uninstall. You should be able to just reinstall 1.17 and not need to sign in again.

In my experience, you'll need to do more to keep it from updating. But you'll be good if you follow the instructions at the bottom of the first post here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=283371

There is no zip inside the zip file, so i made a zip from the "DeDRM_plugin" no luck, say it has no _init__.py its there so no idea where to go now.
calibre 6.3 debian 11 NOdrm 10.0.3 Python 3.9.2

Got 1 qt markup
lot pytho3 and python svripts
lot html document
One map named standalone
in there 4 .py files

When you run make_releasy.py (you need python) a zip file is created which has the plugin-zip file inside.
