@Cynosure_71: You need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. You can try posting in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819 to ask it to be enabled, or contact a moderator.

Hello! I've got another test if you're interested. Ive got a Kobo Nia that does not boot at all. I want to try an image of the Clara HD to see if it works.

It looks to be the closest in design, and apparently the same version of the Kobo software.

I unfortunately do not have the SD card that was in the Nia (mainly because i'm a dumbass)

So if you could send me the SD image (and maybe a couple of tips in how to put it together) I'd be interested to try

If someone is in need of the clara hd sd card image i can provide mine wihout guarantee that it will work. I replaced my serial number with all 0's. If you want to put your own serial number, use a hex editor and find and replace all instances of "N000000000000" with "N(Your 12 digit serial number)". Pm me for link

If I can join the club, can I please request an image of the Kobo Clara HD. My device only flashes the power LED and the screen remains frozen (Even if I remove the battery and disconnect all power)

Hoping a fresh image can bring it back to life.

Hello,

Can I please get an image as well ? My Kobo Clara HD is stuck on sleeping screen with small horizontal lines and none of the usual troubleshooting worked.
Only the led flashes...

Hi can someone please help me? I was doing a factory reset on my Kobo Clara HD and my son accidently close it while it was processing.. so now my sd card is empty, I don't have any files on it. And my Kobo have a white screen, and the power light keep flashing does someone have all the files for the sd card of the Clara HD ? Thanks a lot!
