To speed things up, please enable Private Messaging.

@Aph1 You need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. You can try posting in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819 to ask it to be enabled, or contact a moderator.

Hi David.
After starting my Kobo Clara HD after ~1year of not using it it seemed to work fine when charging it, i said it was connected to my computer (though i could not access it from Calibre and could not see it connected from PC).

After some time of testing around in Calibre it seemed like my Clara HD restarted after an automatic update, after the restart it got stuck in the "restoring loop" and iv'e tried every measure ive found on the web but nothing seems to work.

Could you perhaps be so kind to send me a SD card image so i can see if there is a possibility to save my reader?

Clara HD image requested.
Hi all,

Unfortunalely my wife's two year old Clara HD bricked itself after the final update. I'd like to flash the card with a fresh image to see if it can be used again.

Otherwise I'll get a new SD card and flash that one.
