The display in font settings will switch between a sans serif and serif font which will also show in the advanced font settings. Switching fonts and then switching back to the original font seems to temporarily fix the issue. OTOH, changing size and weight works for the selected font. I've also had a sans serif font show up in the font menu with serifs. Since it does not affect my reading, I'd call it a cosmetic bug which I'm not going to worry about.

Sorry but I had gotten the impression from your earlier posts that this was affecting the font used in reading.

Thanks for checking, normally it shouldn't switch, this wouldn't be a problem, but i have found perfect reading settings for me (first pic in OP), and exiting book messes is up, i have also found that subsequent exits save line spacing, but problem is, i couldn't find same settings for text to be displayed as first picture, i end up with either more lines per page, blank line at the bottom or bigger (smaller) font.

Sorry for wrong impression, it doesn't affect the font in a way that it changes font, it affects it in a way that it changes line spacing values.

I don't use Force user line spacing. Try patching 4.32 without it.

Tried, same thing happens in all epubs.

Sometimes the text is in sans-serif and sometimes it does show the correct font. Adjusting the font weight does work for the selected font.

Thanks, it seems that part is bugged for everyone, i don't understand why line spacing issue is happening to me.

I have installed 4.30 and patches today, transferred all my books, and everything, i am not in the mood to mess with it anymore, i will wait for the next firmware update.

Three firmware updates since this problem started, and this is still not fixed for me.

Guess i will stay on 4.30 for now.

Yeah i tried everything, hard reset, normal reset, with patches, without patches.

I enter the book, set line spacing and font size, after exiting the book spacing gets messed up. Only fix is to change to different font and then change to preferred font again, but it's just a temporary fix, because exiting the book messes it up again.

Are you perhaps reading both ePub and KePub? If so, there's your problem. You set for KePub and it changes ePub. You set for ePub and it changes for KePub. The only way to fix that is to install the patch that makes the font sliders the same.

It seems this bug is unique to your Kobo, as no one else has reported it. Of course I'm pretty sure many people wouldn't even notice it.

Have you tried 4.35.20400? It's not a problem for anyone else or it would be reported by a lot more people then just you.
