Android Image

I have a Nexus 7 which doesn't work very well with the operating system that is currently installed. I am interested in flashing it back to Jellybean 4.1.2

Does anyone know where I can get copy of Jellybean for the Nexus 7? Google has apparently removed it from thier web site.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is your device the Nexus 7 (2012) or the Nexus 7 (2013)? The Jellybean 4.1.2 ROM for Nexus 7 (2012) is available on this page: Google Nexus Stock ROMS. Slightly newer ROMs are available for the Nexus 7 (2013).

I had my Nexus 7 (2013) last on Lineage OS. I hardly remember which version Lineage/Android at this point. I gave it a "battery-ectomy" as the battery was swollen and I used it as car nav tablet. I have since replaced it with a Walmart $70? Onn8.

If you repartition you can install Android 10 or 11: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/flox/

Thanks for the assist! I have successfully flashed my Nexus 7 (2012) and it is working on KitKat 4.4.4. Quite a speed improvement over what it was on Lollipop.

I received a notice that a system update was downloaded. That's a bomb waiting to go off.
