KoReader on android background image

Hi,
Forgive me if this has been asked before. I have looked and can't find the answer. I have a parchment paper image that I like to use in reading apps as a background. Is it possible set my image as background in koreader?

In theory a style of background-image on HTML could work, but it looks like it may not quite work as expected, at least with a simple color test.
