Series don't update correctly in A1

Hi
since I have my A1, noticed that after uploading with Calibre several books that form a series, the reference to the series doesn't appear until another new book is uploaded. If no new book is uploaded, the last series isn't shown, althought the last books are shown you can't see no reference to the series.
As soon as I upload a new book, previous ones are shown with their corresponding series information.
Please, can you try this and confirm if it happens to you too?

Sorry if any mistake... english is not my native language

The eBook(s) are sent to the Kobo. Then you have to eject your Kobo and plug it back in for the metadata (including series) to be updated in the database.

There is nothing wrong. That's how it's always been.

This is working as designed. While calibre puts the series information in the metadata of the book, the Kobo devices do not read it when they import the book. This is due to lack of standards for series info and other parts of the metadata. The series information is updated in the database on the device when calibre interacts with it again. It can happen when you connect the device. If it is only happening when you send another book, it is because of one of the preferences you have set in calibre. I usually recommend that on the "Sending books to devices" page of the preferences, that you set the "Metadata management" option to "Automatic management". Then, after sending books to the device, eject it and let the device import the books. Then connect the device again and let calibre update the series info and other metadata.

Thanks for your reply. I'll test it as you suggest
