Hi everyone, hope everybody's fine !

I thought AFwall+ and AdAway were launched after booting, but I have to manually launch those apps after each boot. I don't find the profile.d or /etc/init.d/ folders to configure it... any idea ?

There's none of those (pure) Linux things in Android.

Maybe that's a permission thing on android.intent.action.BOOT_COMPLETED? android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED

Google keeps on cranking up the security on everything.

make them system apps with systemize magisk module, i believe you want them under priv-app

Would you be able to share how you patched the boot.img with this unstandard way? I'm afraid my Hisense A5 (an e-Ink cell phone) have to be rooted the same way. Thanks in advance.

Firmware 3.2.1 is out. My Max Lumi is already rooted again. I will upload the patched boot.img later.

What I like most so far:
Pdf scribble has got favourite brushes.
You can choose whether you want bitmap pdf or vector pdf when you export your knotes.

The firmware is 1.4GB so it also contains a new boot file. How did you get the firmware file to decrypt if it hasn't been published on the onyx site yet? Can you get it through the OTA update?

Yes, I got it through OTA update.
The generic firmware hyperlink that I have still links to v3.2.
