How to increase line spacing when converting Epub to Mobi?

I occasionally convert Epub files purchased elsewhere to Mobi and email them to my Kindle email address.

The line spacing on the resulting file that arrives on my Kindle is much smaller than it is compared to the line spacing on a standard Kindle store purchased book. Is there any way to increase the line spacing on converted files and for the line spacing to be carried across after emailing the resulting file to my Kindle? Many thanks in advance. convert to azw3 instead then you can control line spacing. But note that amazon does not let you email azw3 to your kindle, you have to transfer it via USB

This was changed recently. Amazon now allows AZW3 files to be sent via email.

I wonder how it handles emailed AZW3 files stored in the cloud for kindles that don't support AZW3.

But with current FW, required to access the cloud, I believe AZW3 is supported at least as far back as the Kindle Keyboard |

I've just tried emailing a converted AZW3 file and got the following results:

	1. The file has the correct line spacing and also retains the Bookerly font. 2. There is no whisper sync between Kindle and the Kindle app on my Android phone. 3. The book cover doesn't show up on the library view on the Kindle but it does on the Android app. Is this expected behaviour or should there at least be whisper sync? |

I should have mentioned that my Kindle is already connected - I buy all of my books via the store and they sync between all my devices.

It's just the ones I've converted from epub to AZW3 that don't sync and don't show the cover art on the Kindle. |

 2. I found the same to be true. In my testing I found that personal documents created by emailing an azw3 file do not sync reading position or annotations between devices. That appears to be a bug. 3. That is expected. KF8 (azw3) format personal documents do not show a cover thumbnail on e-ink Kindles. They will however show the cover on the lock screen in the latest Kindle firmware (5.13.7). |

That's a shame - I read on both my Kindle and my Android phone with the Kindle app and no sync probably means this will be a non starter for me unfortunately.
